First Friday
On Friday i went with one of my good friends to First Friday finally and was completely underwhelmed. First of all, I have a disdain for suburban non-ethnic people in “the heart of Oakland” thinking that they are doing something worth validating. I really wanted to go to see some art and I was able to for a little while. I saw some nice paintings and walked around. I wish I had gone earlier since it only happens for about 3 hours.
From what I was told, but because they niglets starting going shooting as usual (someone actually died) they decided to crack down on it. It seems as though any time that there is some type of event, it always gets ruined when the niglets show up. Hate to say this, but I didn’t even know that they liked art.
